Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Voyago. These Terms & Conditions govern your booking and travel experience with us. By booking a trip with Voyago, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking & Payment

1.1 How to Book

Bookings can be made through voyago.tours website or by contacting our customer service team. Your booking is provisional until payment is received and confirmed. Once payment is received, a contract comes into effect between you and Voyago.

1.2 Payment Terms

  • Full Payment: Voyago experiences require full payment upon booking. This ensures we maintain the intimate, curated nature of our journeys and allows us to focus entirely on your transformation, not logistics. Your investment is protected by the Voyago Guarantee: if you're not satisfied with your experience, you'll receive a 50% discount on another Voyago destination as a second chance to experience the transformation you deserve.
  • Payment Methods: Bank transfer, Virtual Account, QRIS, credit card (via secure payment gateway).
  • Late Bookings: Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at time of booking.

1.3 Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation after payment is received. This confirmation includes your trip details, itinerary, accommodation information, and contact details. Please check your email regularly for updates and important information about your trip.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

2.1 Cancellation by Traveler

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation to the original payment method.

2.2 Cancellation by Voyago

  • Insufficient Bookings: If we cancel due to insufficient bookings, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another available date.
  • Safety or Force Majeure: If we cancel due to safety concerns, natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another available date.

2.3 The Voyago Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your Voyago experience, contact us within 3 days of returning home. We will offer you a 50% discount on another Voyago destination of your choice. This voucher is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

3. Liability & Risk Acknowledgment

3.1 What Voyago Is Responsible For

  • Curated itinerary and activities as described on the website
  • Accommodation as specified in your booking confirmation
  • Local transportation as specified in the itinerary
  • Trip leader coordination and on-ground support

3.2 What Voyago Is NOT Responsible For

  • International/Domestic flights (unless explicitly included in your package)
  • Personal belongings, luggage, or valuables
  • Pre-existing medical conditions or health issues
  • Acts of God (natural disasters, pandemics, wars, terrorism)
  • Third-party services (airlines, hotels, restaurants) beyond our control
  • Personal accidents or injuries
  • Weather-related changes to itinerary

3.3 Risk Acknowledgment

By booking with Voyago, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Solo travel involves inherent risks
  • You are physically and mentally fit for the trip
  • You accept full responsibility for your own safety and well-being
  • You understand that local customs, laws, and practices may differ significantly from your home country

4. Health & Safety Requirements

4.1 Medical Requirements

You must be in good physical and mental health to participate in a Voyago trip. If you have any medical conditions, disabilities, or health concerns, you must disclose them before booking. Voyago is not responsible for any pre-existing medical conditions or health complications that arise during your trip. We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies.

4.2 Fitness Level

Our trips involve walking, hiking, and physical activity. The minimum fitness level required is the ability to walk 1-2 kilometers daily on uneven terrain. If you have any mobility issues or concerns about your fitness level, please inform us before booking so we can advise you appropriately.

4.3 Safety Protocols

  • Follow all instructions from your trip leader at all times
  • Respect local customs, traditions, and laws
  • Avoid risky or reckless behavior
  • Inform your trip leader immediately of any safety concerns or medical issues

5. Traveler Conduct & Community Guidelines

5.1 Expected Behavior

As a Voyago traveler, you are expected to:

  • Respect fellow travelers and local communities
  • Not engage in discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior
  • Not consume excessive alcohol or use drugs
  • Respect cultural and religious practices
  • Follow environmental and sustainability guidelines

5.2 Consequences of Misconduct

Violation of these conduct guidelines may result in:

  • Immediate removal from the trip (no refund)
  • Banning from future Voyago trips
  • Legal action if applicable under local laws

6. Force Majeure

6.1 Unforeseen Circumstances

Force majeure events include natural disasters, pandemics, wars, terrorism, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond Voyago's control. In such cases, Voyago reserves the right to modify or cancel trips due to safety concerns.

6.2 Your Options

If a trip is cancelled or significantly modified due to force majeure, you will have the following options:

  • Full refund of all payments
  • Transfer to another available date
  • Transfer to an alternative destination

6.3 Notification

Voyago will notify you as soon as possible of any force majeure situations. We will work with you to find the best alternative solution.

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 Complaints Process

  • Step 1: Contact support@voyago.tours within 3 days of the issue
  • Step 2: Provide a detailed description and supporting documents
  • Step 3: Voyago will respond within 7 days

7.2 Escalation

If the complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may request a formal review. Mediation services are available if needed.

7.3 Jurisdiction & Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Indonesian law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your booking will be resolved in the courts of Indonesia. The English language version of these terms is the authoritative version.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

8.1 Personal Information

Voyago collects personal data for booking, communication, and trip coordination purposes. Your data is used only for trip-related purposes and is not shared with third parties without your consent. For full details on how we handle your personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

8.2 Data Security

Voyago takes data security seriously and implements appropriate measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Amendments & Changes

9.1 Right to Modify Itinerary

Voyago reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to:

  • Safety concerns
  • Weather conditions
  • Local circumstances
  • Unforeseen events

9.2 Notification of Changes

We will notify you of significant changes to your itinerary as soon as possible. We will work to provide equivalent alternative activities that maintain the spirit and quality of your trip.

9.3 Terms Amendments

Voyago may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes apply to new bookings made after the update. Existing bookings are not affected unless legally required.

10. General Provisions

10.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with your booking confirmation email, form the entire agreement between you and Voyago. No other promises, guarantees, or representations apply unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Voyago.

10.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
